I'm making....

my sweetie pie a birthday cake.

Red Velvet Cake. His favorite.

I've never made it before and am a little nervous.

The frosting is made. And the cakes. (I'm just waiting for them to cool.)

First problem...

I didn't have any red food coloring. So, I went with blue...(blue velvet, get it? HAHA.)

Anyway, the cake turned an interesting shade of green.

BABY POOP GREEN.

Sigh.

The frosting is good though.
